The property of another leader close to Lalu Yadav family has been confiscated by the Enforcement Directorate. Actually, ED has seized 46 properties of RJD leader Arun Yadav. Let us tell you that Arun Yadav and his family are accused of making huge wealth and money laundering through illegal sand mining in Bihar. The properties of Arun Yadav that have been seized include 40 agricultural lands, 4 flats in Danapur and a commercial land in Patliputra Colony, Patna. Arun Yadav had Rs 2 crore 5 lakh in his bank accounts, which have been seized. However, during the ED investigation, it was found that Arun Yadav had made assets worth about Rs 40 crore from illegal mining.
Illegal property of RJD leader seized
Let us tell you that when the pictures of Arun Yadav’s palace built in his village Agianv came out, even the officials were surprised. Spread over several acres, the boundary wall of this palace is more than fifteen feet high. Watch towers are built at the corners of the wall. There are big gardens in the palace, Netaji’s court is held inside the house, for this there is a separate court hall, in which there is seating arrangement for more than a hundred people. There was a big cow shed inside the palace of Arun Yadav, which had more than 500 cows and buffaloes. There was a big pond inside this house, more than a dozen luxury cars are parked in the big garage, there are statues of Arun Yadav’s ancestors installed inside the house. Let us tell you that this palace was inaugurated by Lalu Yadav. Regarding this, Arun Yadav said that he has all the documents of the property. This action has been taken against Lalu because of his closeness to him. For this he is ready to fight a legal battle.
Property worth crores made illegally
Let us tell you that the Enforcement Directorate has seized property worth Rs 21 crore 38 lakh belonging to former RJD MLA Arun Yadav, close to Lalu Prasad. Apart from Arun Yadav, this property has been taken in the name of his wife and currently RJD MLA Kiran Devi from Arrah, his two sons Rajesh Kumar and Deepu Singh and their company M/s Kiran Durga Construction Private Limited. The seized property worth Rs 21.38 crore includes 46 immovable properties worth Rs 19.32 crore and an amount of about Rs 2 crore five lakh in the bank account. The seized assets include about 40 acres of agricultural land around Agiyanv in Bhojpur, his palatial house in Agiyanv, 4 flats purchased in the Marchiya Devi Complex of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi in Patna and a plot in Patna’s Patliputra area. According to the ED, Arun Yadav has acquired assets worth approximately Rs 39.31 crore in the name of family members and the company, which is much more than his legitimate source of income.
Only bungalow worth Rs 11 crores was built
Let us tell you that Bihar Police had filed an FIR against Arun Yadav under many serious sections like illegal sand mining, sale of land and Arms Act. In February this year, ED had registered a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and raided the residences of Arun Yadav and Kiran Devi. Arun Yadav has a luxurious bungalow worth more than Rs 11 crore in Agiyanv of Arrah. In the ED investigation, properties acquired in the name of Arun Yadav and his family members have been purchased from the year 2014-15 to 2022-23. When the India TV team reached the palace to meet Arun Yadav, a security personnel took him to meet him. Arun Yadav was sitting in a bungalow built in a part of his palace. Some people had come with their complaints to where Arun Yadav was sitting. Janata Darbar is held every Sunday at the same place.
