रावण के जले अंश को पाने के लिए लोग करते है मारामारी, फिर घर की तिजोरी में कर देते है बंद

Jaipur. The festival of Dussehra is celebrated with great pomp throughout India including Rajasthan. On this day, the effigy of Ravana is burnt. But in many rural areas of Rajasthan, even today a part of Ravana is worshipped. In the rural areas of Jaipur, Rajasthan, people consider it a good fortune to take home even a small part of Ravana’s effigy after Ravana Dahan. This is done due to tradition and religious importance.

Due to tradition and religious importance, while making Ravana, in many rural areas, 10 pots are made from it. Apart from this, many such things are made of iron and other metals which do not burn. On Dussehra, when Ravana falls down after burning, its pot-like shape simply breaks and people run to collect small pieces of the pot. Apart from this, people also take the small metals present in the effigy of Ravana to their homes.

There is no effect of evil eye in the house
Pandit Anil Kumar Sharma told that Ravana was a glorious Brahmin king, who lived in a golden Lanka. He was considered among the best scholars and was a great devotee of Shiva. Therefore, people believe that if even a part of Ravana’s effigy remains in the house, then happiness and wealth will come to the house. In rural areas of Jaipur, people keep a part of Ravana’s effigy in their granaries or use it to avert evil eyes. According to Pandit Sharma, if Ravana’s part is present in the house then there is no effect of evil eyes in the house.

Ravana’s metal is kept in the safe
Pandit Anil Kumar Sharma told that after Ravana’s burning, apart from the pieces of the pot, people also take the metal pieces of his body to their homes. Keep it in the safe of your house. The belief behind this is that just as Ravana lived in a golden Lanka and the blessings of the goddess of wealth and Kubera were always on him, in the same way, by keeping even a part of Ravana in his safe, he also gets the blessings of Mother Lakshmi and wealth. There will be blessings of God Kuber.
