Jaipur: There is a stir in Rajasthan also due to the discovery of a suspected monkeypox patient. The young man had returned from Dubai and was found to have chicken pox. As a precaution, the youth’s sample has been sent to SMS Hospital. Director Public Health Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur has given the information. A 20-year-old youth from Maulasar had reached Sanganer Airport from Dubai. During examination by the health officer, rashes were found on his body.
After this, the young man was referred to RUHS Hospital, where during examination, chicken pox was found on the young man’s body and then as a precautionary measure, his samples were sent to test for monkey pox. The blood sample of the youth has been sent to SMS Hospital. At present the condition of the young man is stable and he is under treatment. The passengers sitting around the young man are also being traced.
If the youth is found positive in the test, further action will be taken as per the guidelines of the Government of India. Let us tell you that Dubai is not included in the countries affected by monkey pox.
According to a statement, at present no case of monkey pox has been reported in the state. However, the state is completely alert and aware about this disease. According to the guidelines issued by the Government of India, the protocol is being ensured.
