Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has declared October 11 as a public holiday in the state on the occasion of ‘Navami’. Keeping in mind the demands of many organizations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken the decision on Friday on the occasion of Navami. October 11 will be a public holiday except for essential services. Schools, colleges and government offices will remain closed. Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said that all the schools under the Basic Education Department across the state will remain closed.
The minister wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, ‘Under the leadership and inspiration of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, concerted efforts are being made to empower half the population in the state. On the auspicious occasion of Mahanavami, holiday will be observed in all the schools under the Basic Education Department in Uttar Pradesh.
UP people got 3 days leave
There will be a total holiday of three days in UP. The last three days of this week will be holidays on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday has been declared a public holiday. In this way, employees of government departments will now be able to enjoy the long weekend amid the joys of the festival.
