India TV Election Forum: As the assembly elections in Maharashtra are coming closer, political activities are increasing. Meanwhile, India TV has brought the biggest show of elections – Election Forum. Maharashtra SP President Abu Azmi is answering questions on this platform. Abu Azmi said that we were demanding 12 seats, but are ready to fight even on less. He further said that if SP becomes 8 MLAs in Maharashtra, we will remain in the centre.
The SP leader said, efforts are being made to divide the country on the basis of hatred. Action should be taken against making inflammatory statements. He has demanded that UAPA should be imposed on whoever speaks against religion.
‘I don’t understand any difference between Hindu and Muslim’
On the allegation of blackmailing voters in the name of Muslim votes, Abu Azmi said, I do not understand any difference between Hindus and Muslims. I have never done Hindu-Muslim politics.
Voting will be held on a total of 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra on November 20 and the counting of votes will take place on November 23.
