Uddhav Thackeray and Devendra Fadnavis
The dates of Maharashtra Assembly elections have been announced and political turmoil is going on regarding who will contest from where. There is ongoing turmoil in Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi regarding seat sharing. While BJP has declared its candidates on 99 seats, the seat sharing decision has not been taken yet in Mahavikas Aghadi. Till now, talks have not been reached between the two parties regarding the ongoing differences between Congress and Shiv Sena. Meanwhile, according to sources, Devendra Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray met a few days ago, many meanings are being inferred from this meeting.
Uddhav-Fadnavis meeting, speculations begin
It is being said that the proposal for this meeting was given by Uddhav Thackeray and talks took place between the two leaders. But it is not known what happened. Now since Congress is adamant on seat sharing and does not want to give seat to Uddhav Thackeray, Shiv Sena has come forward with this statement which may be a part of pressure politics. It is being said that only political talks took place between the two leaders but the matter could not progress further in that meeting.
Uddhav’s B plan?
There is a tussle over seats in Mahavikas Aghadi between Congress and Uddhav faction’s Shiv Sena and that is why the meeting between Uddhav and Fadnavis can also be called Uddhav’s Plan B. There was friendship between Uddhav and BJP earlier also, both of them had run the government together. Now Shiv Sena has also divided into two parts and Uddhav has suffered loss due to this. On the other hand, many speculations are being made regarding Shind group also. So in such a situation, Uddhav’s B plan is ready, if talks do not work out with Congress then the doors remain open in politics.
