The day after its spectacular victory in the Haryana Assembly elections, BJP has made a big move in Maharashtra. With this one move, the opposition parties which were claiming to achieve a big victory in the upcoming assembly elections have been stunned in one fell swoop. Due to this, the state elections have taken an interesting turn. Actually, before the assembly elections, BJP has taken a big decision for the OBC community. In Maharashtra, 15 castes have been included in OBC. While on one hand these castes are being included in OBC, on the other hand a big update has also come out regarding the creamy layer. The last meeting of the state cabinet is likely to be held on Thursday, after which the code of conduct can be implemented any time, hence the government is preparing to take a big decision on the creamy layer.
Sources have informed that the state government will recommend to the central government to increase the limit of non-creamy layer. The state government is going to recommend to the central government to increase the limit of non-creamy layer from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. Sources have informed that the state government will take this big decision in the background of the upcoming assembly elections.
After increasing the limit of non-criminal layer, OBC, Maratha and other communities taking advantage of reservation will benefit from it. If the limit of non-creamy layer is increased to Rs 15 lakh, then many senior government officials will also get the benefit. Sources have informed that this decision will be taken in the cabinet meeting to be held in Sahyadri on Thursday at 11 am.
