Only a few days are left for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, continuous meetings are being held among the parties involved in the ruling coalition Mahayuti regarding seat sharing. A big meeting of Mahayuti was also held on Thursday. The meeting was held at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. A decision is to be taken on the remaining 23 seats in the meeting. Regarding the meeting, news has come out quoting sources that Amit Shah has his eyes on the Mahayuti rebels.

According to sources, Amit Shah has his eyes on the rebels of Mahayuti. He said in the meeting, “Take care that rebels do not stand”. Amit Shah has advised Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar that no party will field rebels in the grand alliance. Amit Shah has directed all three parties – BJP, NCP and Shiv Sena to contest the elections together.

BJP-NCP released the first list

Let us tell you that BJP has released the first list of its candidates for Maharashtra Assembly elections. BJP has declared the names of a total of 99 candidates in this list. State Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will once again contest from Nagpur South West Assembly. State President Chandra Shekhar Bawankule will contest from Kamathi assembly constituency. Apart from this, Mahayuti’s constituent Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) also released the first list of 38 candidates on Wednesday, in which state Deputy Chief Minister and party chief Ajit Pawar will contest from Baramati seat in Pune district. In the first list of candidates of NCP, 26 MLAs including ministers who were with Ajit Pawar when he joined the ruling camp have been made candidates this time too.

There are a total of 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. Voting for the assembly elections will be held on November 20 on all the seats. The results will come on 23 November. In the 2019 assembly elections, BJP had won 105 seats. This time BJP is contesting the elections in the state along with Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar and NCP. BJP’s first list was approved in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 16.
