A laborer has died in an accident at BSP.
Raipur: A 33-year-old laborer died in an accident at Steel Authority of India’s Bhilai Steel Plant in Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Bhilai Steel Plant i.e. BSP officials said on Thursday that the accident occurred at around 11 am in the Steel Melting Shop-3 (SMS-3) department of the plant. According to officials, when the employees were working in the SMS-3 department, two cranes collided with each other due to which the stopper fell on the contract laborer Basant Kurre. He said Basant was wearing a helmet, but it too got damaged during the accident and he died on the spot. Officials said that the police have been informed about the incident.
2 villagers died in Surguja while digging soil
At the same time, there is news of death of two villagers while extracting soil in Surguja district of the state. Giving information about this, police officials said on Thursday that two villagers named Hiraman Yadav and Shiva Yadav died due to mudslide while extracting white soil in Jamdara village under Lakhanpur police station area of the district. Death It’s done. He told that Hiraman and Shiva along with other local people had gone to remove the loose soil a kilometer away from the village. Officials said that both of them had entered the tunnel-like mine under the earthen mound and were digging the soil when the upper part collapsed and both of them were buried under the soil.
The villagers pulled him out, but he lost his life.
Police officials said that when other people present there raised an alarm after the incident, many more villagers reached there and removed the mud and took both of them out, but by then they had died. He said that after receiving information about the incident, a police team was sent to the spot. After reaching the spot, the police sent the bodies to the hospital. Villagers told that in Jamdara village where the accident took place, people often go there to remove untouched soil. He told that due to continuous digging of soil, a tunnel was formed there due to which this accident happened. Police have registered a case in this regard and are busy investigating.
