Baghpat: In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, people’s lives are being played with by selling water by copying big brands like Bisleri. This came to light when a bottle of Bisleri was seen instead of Bisleri on the table in front of Baghpat DM and SP. After this, a big campaign is being run against fake products under the direction of DM Jitendra Pratap Singh. More than 6,000 bottles have been destroyed so far.
Bisleri is a big brand of water whose water bottles are sold in every corner of the country. People blindly trust the water bottles and their quality of such big companies. In such a situation, some people started selling fake water under the name of Bisleri brand under the names Bilseri, Bisleri, Bislari, Bilsari etc. In such a situation, there is anger among the local people and people are continuously demanding strict action against such people. Similarly, there is a water company called Clear whose water is sold in the market. Water is sold under the name Queen in Chitrakoot district of UP by putting a bottle sticker with the same color and design as its bottle.
Pramod Goswami, senior social worker of Khekra in Baghpat, has demanded strict action against such people. He says that customers should also be aware and should buy the goods only after reading the name properly and checking its expiry. If any goods are sold fraudulently anywhere, then the list of such people should be immediately sent to the administration and action should be taken against them.
Kamal Kumar, a resident of Baghpat, says that this is simply playing with the lives of the people. Strict action should be taken against such people and a big campaign should be launched and action should be taken by registering cases against them. These people are directly playing with people’s lives. Vishesh Kumar of Baghpat says that people are playing with people’s future by earning profits by selling fake water. Such people should be ashamed and the administration should take strict action against them and file a case against them and send them to jail. Customers should also be aware and check the quality of the goods before purchasing them. Buy goods only as per government standards.
