Rampur: A good news has come for Antyodaya and eligible household card holders living in Rampur, UP. District Supply Officer said that the Central Government has planned to distribute free food grains between 5 to 25 October 2024 under the National Food Security Act-2013. The objective of this scheme is to strengthen the economic condition of the poor, so that they can support their families well.
Know how much ration you get
Under this special scheme, Antyodaya card holders will get 14 kg wheat and 21 kg rice, while eligible household card holders will be distributed 2 kg wheat and 3 kg fortified rice. This food grain distribution is completely free and the beneficiaries are expected to take maximum advantage of this opportunity.
Mobile OTP verification system implemented
To simplify the process of obtaining food grains, arrangements have been made for Aadhaar authentication and mobile OTP verification. This will ensure that every beneficiary gets his/her entitlement on time and does not have to face any kind of inconvenience. The district administration has also appealed to the beneficiaries to reach their nearest distribution center within the stipulated time and get their ration.
Commendable step taken by the government for ration
This initiative of ration distribution is a commendable step of the government, which has been taken to help the needy. The aim of the scheme is that no person sleeps hungry and every family gets nutritious food. Till the last date of 25th October, all the beneficiaries are requested to be ready with their documents and avail the benefits of this scheme on time.
Through this free food grain distribution scheme, the government is trying to reduce the everyday difficulties of poor families, so that they get some relief in their lives and can live a dignified life.
