A shocking news has come in Punjab regarding extortion from a businessman, here miscreants blasted a petrol pump. It is being told that a blast was carried out for ransom at this petrol pump located on Mansa-Sirsa road. After this the owner got a call from a foreign number and asked him to pay a huge amount of Rs 5 crore as ransom. On the complaint of the petrol pump owner, the police started investigating the matter. At the same time, CCTV footage of the blast has also surfaced.
Call and message made on WhatsApp number
At around 1 am last night, something like a bomb was thrown at a petrol pump on Sirsa Road in Mansa, after which a big explosion occurred. After this, a call and message was sent to the petrol pump owner from a foreign number on his WhatsApp number. The person sending the message claimed responsibility for the blast and said that he had detonated the pump with a grenade. Also, ransom of crores of rupees was demanded from the owner on calls and messages.
Ransom of Rs 5 crore demanded
The miscreants called from a foreign number and demanded Rs 5 crore and told the businessman that we have shown the trailer, now if the ransom is not paid, the consequences will be even worse. In the initial investigation in the case, the police are saying that the petrol pump was attacked with a hand grenade or a country-made bomb, that is, the bomb was not already planted here but the miscreants threw the bomb and caused the blast.
