झुंझुनूं: अज्ञात जंगली जानवर का खौफ, गांव वाले दे रहे रात को पहरा

Ravindra Kumar/Jhunjhunu: There is terror of unknown wild animals in many villages of the district. These wild animals are not only attacking humans but are also making sheep and goats their prey. Recently, a villager in Charanwas Shyampura village was attacked by a wild animal and seriously injured.

Villager injured in serious attack
In Charanwas Shyampura village, Nemichand’s son Shivchand was attacked by a wild animal and badly injured his neck, chest, hands and legs. Nemichand was first admitted to a private hospital in Jhunjhunu, then shifted to BDK Hospital. Nemichand’s nephew Nitesh told that at 7 in the morning his uncle was going to harvest the crops in the field, when suddenly this attack happened. People nearby found him in injured condition and informed the family.

Two more people became victims on Sikar Road
Similarly, Tarachand son of Shivchand Meghwal and girl Suman daughter of Radhakrishna were also attacked by an unknown animal in Swami Ki Dhani near Dhigaal village on Sikar Road. Both were admitted to a private hospital for treatment. These incidents have spread panic in the entire area.

Villagers angry over failure of forest department
The villagers have alleged that the forest department has not yet been able to identify this unknown animal, while this animal is continuously attacking animals and now humans too. Due to fear of wild animals, the villagers have to keep vigil throughout the night. Efforts are being made to drive away the animals by bursting firecrackers, but no concrete measures have been taken so far.

Hyena or leopard may attack
Villagers believe that this animal could be a hyena. Activity of wild animals has been reported in many villages of the area like Kolsia, Kari, Bugala, Charan Ki Dhani, Durjanpura and Jakhal. The footage of a wild animal was also captured in the CCTV camera installed in Bhagera village, but the forest department team has so far failed to control it. At the same time, there have been reports of leopard coming from Bugala village, which has spread more panic among the villagers.
