Ranchi. The Grand Alliance and NDA have geared up to prepare for the Jharkhand Assembly elections. Talks on seat sharing are in the final stages between both the alliance parties. At the same time, various strategies are being prepared regarding the equation of victory and defeat in the 81-member Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections. Meanwhile, we have brought before you some figures of Jharkhand Assembly for 2014 and 2019, by knowing which you will get some idea of the position of parties in Jharkhand.
If we look at the last Jharkhand Assembly elections of 2014, out of total 81 seats, BJP had won 37 seats with 31.3 percent vote share. Whereas All Jharkhand Students Union i.e. AJSU had won 5 seats with 3.7 percent vote share. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s vote share was 20.4 percent and the party won 19 seats.
At the same time, Babu Lal Marandi’s Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) had won 8 seats with about 10 percent vote share. However, later 6 JVM MLAs joined BJP. At the same time, in this election Congress was successful in winning 7 seats with 10.5 percent vote share. Whereas 6 seats went to others.
If we look at the election results of the year 2019, BJP had won 25 seats with 33.37 percent vote share. At the same time, JMM had won 30 seats with 18.72 percent votes. Congress had won 16 seats and got 13.88 percent vote share. JVM won 3 seats with 5.45 percent votes.
Apart from this, RJD had got 1 seat with 2.75 percent vote share while AJSU had got 8.10 percent votes and won two seats. Others got 4 seats. JDU had secured 0.73 percent vote share. BSP got 1.53 percent vote share, CPIM got 0.32 percent, CPI got 0.46 percent, AIMIM got 1.16 percent and JDS got 0.01 percent vote share.
