झारखंड में RJD के फैसले की चर्चा, 20-22 सीटों का दावा कर रही थी लेकिन 6 सीट पर मान गई

Ranchi: RJD has announced its candidates for Jharkhand assembly elections. Jailed sand mafia Subhash Yadav has also been given ticket for Koderma seat. But this decision of RJD is also being discussed a lot in political circles.

What is the whole matter?

Actually RJD was claiming 20-22 seats in Jharkhand but later agreed to only 6 seats. It is also being discussed that jailed sand mafia Subhash Yadav has also been given ticket from Koderma seat. Subhash Yadav has been described by ED as the kingpin of illegal sand mining in Bihar and he is lodged in Beur jail of Patna for the last several months. Subhash Yadav is considered very close to the Lalu family.

Apart from this, RJD has given tickets to Suresh Paswan from Deoghar, Sanjay Prasad Yadav from Godda, Rashmi Prakash from Chatra, Naresh Prasad Singh from Vishrampur and Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav from Hussainabad.

When are the elections in Jharkhand?

Voting will be held in Jharkhand on 13th and 20th November and the results will come only on 23rd November. Elections will be held in Jharkhand in 2 phases. There are 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand. In the last elections, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) had won 30 seats and BJP had won 25 seats, while 26 seats had gone to other parties. JMM had emerged as the largest party in the elections.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar had told that there are 2 crore 60 lakh voters in Jharkhand. There are 1 crore 31 lakh male voters here and 1 crore 29 lakh female voters. Voting will be held at 29 thousand 562 booths in Jharkhand. There will be 881 voters at every booth in Jharkhand.

Election Commission also gave statement on EVM

Recently the Election Commission had also given a statement on EVMs. The Election Commission had said that there is no fault in EVM. EVM is completely safe. The polling agent’s signature will also be on the EVM battery. EVMs will be under 3 layer security. Single use battery is used in EVM. EVMs do not have batteries like mobiles.
