Rajasthan
There is joy and happiness regarding Diwali in Rajasthan. In such a situation, schools have been closed here too, but according to the official calendar, there will be a holiday from 31st October to 3rd November. At the same time, if some reports are to be believed, Dhanteras has also been declared a holiday here at the last moment.
Maharashtra
There will be a government holiday in Maharashtra on Diwali on 1st and 2nd November. According to media reports, there are 7 to 10 days holidays for children in schools around Diwali, but there is no holiday on Dhanteras.
Delhi
Talking about the national capital Delhi, there is little hope of school holidays on Dhanteras. The reason for this is the Diwali holidays declared in Delhi, here holidays have been declared from 30 October to 3 November.
Chhattisgarh
At the same time, students have been given the longest leave in Chhattisgarh. There will be a long holiday of 8 days in schools here, which will start on Sunday, 27th October and will continue till Sunday, 3rd November. The government holiday will start from October 28 and there will be a holiday on Dhanteras on October 29, then it will continue till November 2. Bhai Dooj is also on 3rd November.
Jharkhand and Bihar
According to the information, there will be holiday in Bihar and Jharkhand only for 2 days i.e. on 1st and 2nd November. There is a possibility of Dhanteras holiday in both the states and according to some reports, the government has also included October 29 in the Diwali holidays, although this has not been confirmed.
Uttar Pradesh
In UP, the Yogi government has officially declared Diwali on 31st October, Govardhan Puja on 2nd November and Bhai Dooj on 3rd November as holiday. Whereas in the council and recognized schools of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council, Diwali holiday will be from 31st October to 3rd November i.e. Dhanteras holiday has not been given in the schools.
Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh, short Diwali i.e. Diwali holidays have been given from 30th October which will continue till 3rd November i.e. Govardhan Puja. At the same time, there is no holiday here on Dhanteras.
