In Bundelkhand, a strange result of the rift between husband and wife has come to light. The quarrel that started due to the husband’s dark complexion became the cause of the death of the grandfather and father-in-law. In fact, when the wife left her husband and went to her maternal home, the grandfather and father-in-law also reached the maternal home to understand the daughter-in-law. On this, the daughter-in-law’s family members beat her to death. He was admitted to the hospital, where he died. Police are investigating the matter.

Beating happened in this village of UP
This story started 6 years ago, when Harvendra, a resident of Dhimarpura in Niwari district, was married to Aarti from Javan village of Jhansi, UP. It is alleged that since marriage, Aarti used to taunt her husband for being black. Often she would go to her parents’ home without informing her in-laws. To complain about this, Harvend’s grandfather Suti Raikwar reached the daughter-in-law’s maternal home on 29 September. Then what happened there, the daughter-in-law’s family beat her badly. 65 year old Sooty died in the hospital during treatment.

Accused arrested, preparations to send him to jail
Harendra Rakwar told that his wife used to fight with him only after marriage. She used to say that I don’t like you because your complexion is black. When grandfather went to explain things to him, he was killed. At the same time, Sakrar police station in-charge Abhiram Singh says that after conducting the post-mortem of the dead body, a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint of the family members and action has been taken to arrest the accused and send him to jail.
