Earlier, Delhi Police had raided Mahipalpur on October 3 and claimed to have seized 560 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana from a warehouse. Its price in the international market was Rs 5,620 crore.

According to Special Cell sources, two people have been arrested from the spot, who are being interrogated. An attempt is being made to know what is their role in this. Among those arrested are warehouse owners Gulshan Makhan and Anil Harjai. They are being asked what is their connection with drugs and when were they kept there. According to sources, this warehouse was taken on rent. The warehouse was kept empty for a long time. Later, consignments of drugs kept coming in.

Sources say that the person who brought the cocaine has fled to London. The car in which the cocaine was brought was fitted with a GPS. Tracking the GPS location the police reached. This cocaine also belongs to the same syndicate which was caught with cocaine worth Rs 5600 crore. A total of 762 kg of cocaine has been recovered so far. This is being said to be the biggest recovery of cocaine in the country.

According to police sources, the seventh arrest in this drug syndicate is of an important supplier named Akhlaq, who is a resident of Hapur, UP. Special Cell teams had interrogated Akhlaq and other suppliers of the arrested syndicate face to face, after which searching and raids were conducted in Ramesh Nagar area. Akhlaq has revealed many secrets during the interrogation of the Special Cell, including these new recoveries which are narrating the entire history of the country’s biggest drugs syndicate.

Akhlaq is the most important person of this syndicate, who was aware of every drug coming to Delhi and he used to send it out of Delhi to other states under his supervision. A senior official said that Goyal is the mastermind of the syndicate operating in India. During interrogation, it came to light that the four accused were planning to sell drugs in large quantities at music festivals, rave parties and posh areas in Delhi and other metropolitan cities.
