What to do if a girl is not available for Kanya Puja?
– If there are no girls in the neighborhood, then you can go to a temple or any such place where you can find children of needy or poor people. You can go to such places and provide food to girls and perform Kanya Puja by donating Dakshina.
– Many times people are not able to send their daughters to other people’s homes due to other reasons or because they have to go to school. In such a situation, if you want, you can deliver Prasad and Dakshina etc. to the girls at their homes.
Apart from this, you can worship the women of the house. In Hindu religion, woman is considered the form of goddess. Worship the women of the house like daughters too.
Correct method of girl worship
– Invite girls to your home for worship on the day of Ashtami or Navami. Their age can be between 2 years to 10 years. When girls come to your house, welcome them with flowers and garlands.
– After this, give seats to the girls to sit. Then wash the girls’ feet with water. Worship him with rice, flowers, roli etc. Place a red colored chunri on his head. After this, feed puri, halwa, black gram, kheer, coconut, fruits etc. to the girls. After they eat, give them water to drink.
– After this, give them gifts and Dakshina as per your capacity. Take his blessings by touching his feet. After this, bid them farewell by inviting them to come again next year.
