Ankit Kumar told that his parents were pressurizing his wife Prachi to bring dowry since their marriage. He brought money from his in-laws many times, but now his parents are demanding more money. When Ankit and his wife refused to pay dowry, they were also threatened with expulsion from the house. Ankit’s wife Prachi told that she comes from a poor family and they were married according to Hindu customs about two and a half years ago. Right from the time of marriage, pressure was being put on her to bring dowry.
