West Champaran: Stray animals are a big problem for farmers across the country. If farmers make even a little mistake, these non-vegetarian animals destroy their crops. As they graze, they trample them and destroy them. Farmers have many times asked the Central and State Governments for prevention of stray animals. It is regrettable that governments are not paying any special attention to this problem of farmers. Some remedies are used which do not seem to be very effective.
According to experts, there is such a plant in nature which, if planted on the ridges of fields, will prevent any stray animal in the world from crossing it and trying to destroy the crops. Agriculture and forestry expert Ravikant, who has been working for the last 25 years, has shared detailed information on the Behaya plant and its benefits.
Effective from insecticide to field fencing
Ravikant explains that Behya is a plant which grows very easily on the banks of rivers, drains and roads. They neither need fertilizer nor fertile land. The juice coming out from them is poisonous. In ancient times, its juice was used on the tips of arrows and spears during hunting. The person or animal that was hit by that arrow would die in the blink of an eye. Even today, the juice extracted from Behya plants is used as pesticide in the fields and the plant is used to stop stray animals from the fields.
There will be no risk of any disease
By spraying this pesticide on crops, there will be no risk of fungus nor any other disease. The anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties of Behaya have the ability to protect crops from every disease. The liquid coming out of it is poisonous. If farmers apply it in large quantities on the ridges of the fields, then no animal will dare to enter inside and the crops will remain safe.
Prepare insecticide like this
Ravikant explains that to make insecticide, the branches of Behya should be broken into small pellets. After this it should be boiled thoroughly in water. During this time, Behaya leaves can also be mixed with the pellets in that water. After boiling on high flame for about an hour, when the thick extract remains, fill it in a container and spray it in the fields. Keep in mind that about 5 liters of water should be used for one kg of tablets.
