The results of assembly elections were announced yesterday in Haryana. There are a total of 90 assembly seats in the state. Out of these 90 seats, BJP alone took majority by winning 48 seats. Three independent MLAs also won in the state. The first name among these independent MLAs is Savitri Jindal. Apart from Savitri Jindal, Devendra Kadian and Rajesh June also won the election. Now these three independent MLAs can support BJP. For this, today i.e. on October 9, the three MLAs will meet BJP’s election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan and other senior leaders in Delhi.
BJP achieved historic victory
Let us tell you that BJP has achieved a historic victory in the Haryana Assembly elections held in 2024. By winning 48 seats out of 90 assembly seats, BJP achieved sole majority and is going to form its government in the state for the third consecutive time. On the other hand, Congress, which was away from power for the last 10 years, was hopeful that this time their government will be formed in the state but this time also they will have to wait.
How many seats should other parties get?
There are total 90 assembly seats in Haryana. Out of these 90 seats, BJP alone won 48 seats and 3 seats went to independent MLAs. After this, 39 seats are left in the state. Out of these 39 seats, Congress won 37 seats while INLD won the remaining 2 seats. In this way the calculation of all the seats in the state was completed. Let us tell you that the rise of BJP in Haryana has been slow but steady. In 1991, BJP had won only two seats and in 1996 it reached 11 seats.
