shift. A special train will leave from Bikaner for Rameshwaram on October 14 under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme 2024 by the Devasthan Department of the Rajasthan Government. This train will depart from Bikaner Railway Station at 1.30 pm and reach Rameshwaram via Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) and Jawai Dam station. 230 passengers from Bikaner railway station, 300 from Bhagat Ki Kothi, and 250 from Jawai Bandh station will participate in this yatra. A total of 780 pilgrims will participate in this pilgrimage. Passengers are being informed to reach the station on time and complete the entire process.
Passengers from Pali will have to report at Janwai Dam station.
Assistant Commissioner Omprakash Paliwal said that time has been fixed for the passengers to report at the departure point. Passengers of Bikaner and Churu districts will report at Bikaner railway station at 8 am, passengers of Jodhpur division will report at Bhagat Ki Kothi railway station at 1 pm and Jawai Bandh station at 2 pm.

A train in-charge will accompany the journey to look after the passengers, 2 government employees in each coach, and a doctor and 2 nursing officers for medical facilities. It will be mandatory for the passenger to bring with him a hard copy of the online filled application form, certified medical certificate, Jan Aadhaar/Aadhaar card and 2 passport size photographs. Apart from this, items of daily use, essential medicines and cash and clothes for personal needs will also have to be carried along.
All facilities including food and drinks will be free.
Special arrangements are also being made by the Rajasthan government for the passengers going on the yatra. Due to that, all the facilities including food and drinks are being provided for them. During the yatra, arrangements for accommodation, food etc. for 8 days will be provided completely free of cost by the Devasthan Department, Government of Rajasthan.
