According to the information, two parties clashed during the nomination of delegates of Urban Cooperative Bank in Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday. A dispute broke out after the altercation. During this, Awadhesh Singh beat up the BJP MLA. However, the police present at the spot pacified both the parties and separated them.

Nomination for this has started from today and October 10 is the day for withdrawal of nominations. The voter list will be made public on October 11 and election symbols will also be allotted on the same day. The BJP MLA had come here in connection with the nomination. A large number of police forces have been deployed at the spot. At present, no complaint has been lodged by any party with the police in this regard.
