महाराष्ट्र में हरियाणा और J&K के चुनावी नतीजों का कितना असर होगा? BJP के लिए कैसी होगी राह?

Mumbai. After BJP’s hat-trick of victories in the Haryana Assembly elections and the party’s stellar performance in Jammu and Kashmir, now everyone’s eyes are on how much impact it can have in Maharashtra? According to political experts, the impact of the election results of both the states will definitely be seen, but it is difficult to tell in whose direction the balance will swing.

Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha member Priyanka Chaturvedi on Tuesday said Congress’ defeat in Haryana elections will have no impact on Maharashtra, where assembly elections are to be held next month. However, Chaturvedi stressed that the upcoming elections will not be easy for the opposition as well as the ruling coalition.

Chaturvedi said the election issues in Maharashtra and Haryana were very different and corruption was not a major election issue in the northern state, where the BJP is going to form its government for the third consecutive time. He said that industrial projects are moving out of Maharashtra and the state is facing serious problems like unemployment.

“The (results of) Haryana elections will not have any impact on Maharashtra,” Chaturvedi told PTI. Shiv Sena (UBT) is a constituent of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). The Rajya Sabha member claimed that unlike Haryana, the ruling coalition in Maharashtra is in power through ‘fraud’.

He said that the people of Maharashtra do not like the fact that two parties (Shiv Sena and NCP) were broken, due to which many political organizations were formed. The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader claimed that it seems that the BJP does not trust Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

Meanwhile, NCP (SP) working president and Lok Sabha member from Baramati Supriya Sule expressed surprise at the Haryana election results, but said people in Jammu and Kashmir have clearly voted for the National Conference-led alliance.

Speaking to reporters in Pune, Sule said that she had recently visited Jammu and Kashmir and while talking to local residents, she found that peace in the valley was mainly due to the heavy deployment of security forces. He said, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir have voted for the National Conference led by Farooq Abdullah, against whom the BJP had made many allegations.” Commenting on the results of Haryana elections, Sule expressed surprise, but said that preliminary analysis shows that the victory margin is very small.
