Now love is pouring in for Hindus in Bangladesh! Khaleda Zia’s party said – we will provide justice

It was some three-four months ago, when Sheikh Hasina was overthrown, there was a flood of atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. Their houses were burnt. Temples were demolished. Even the statues were looted. But when all the Hindus came together on the streets, the parties there lost their senses. The party of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, which used to give free rein to fundamentalists, has now started speaking the language of love for Hindus.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, general secretary of Khaleda Zia’s party BNP, said, if our party returns to power, we will investigate all the atrocities committed against Hindus. Will take action and ensure justice. Whatever needs to be done for this, we will do it.

Sheikh Hasina’s party attacked
After worship at Dhakeshwari temple, Fakhrul met representatives of Hindu organizations. Said, whatever issues you have, all are in our list. We promise to work on these. Indirectly referring to Sheikh Hasina’s party Awami League, the BNP leader said, it is unfortunate that people of a particular political party have been involved in atrocities on you. While those people claim to be your biggest protectors.

Injustice is still happening today
Taking aim at Awami League, Fakhrul said, the same people captured the lands and looted your property. If our government is formed in the future, we will conduct an impartial investigation into every such case. Earlier, Bangladesh Puja Parishad General Secretary Santosh Sharma told him about the problems of the community. Told what kind of injustice is being done against the minorities. On this Fakhrul said, I will not say that nothing happened. Whatever incidents took place were not of communal nature, but were political incidents.
