Manju Devi’s husband Venkatesh Raman had left his family with his wife and three children and gone somewhere 26 years ago. After searching nothing was found, after this this woman did not give up. Even today, while waiting for her husband, Manju Devi, like a married woman, applies vermilion to her hair, hoping that her husband will return home. When Manju Devi’s husband left home, she had a 5-month-old son and two daughters of 5 and 3 years in her lap. Running a household and raising three children seemed like a mountain for Manju Devi, yet she did not lose courage.

First became a teacher, then started making furniture, started with a loan of Rs 5000
Struggled from a weak to a strong woman, in the initial days she worked as a teacher in a private school to raise and educate children. With the money, this woman educated her three children, married her two daughters and settled them. For a few days this woman made wooden furniture and sold it. Later, when the government scheme Jeevika came, she became Jeevika Didi and took a loan of Rs 5000 to further her employment. After increasing the income, he took a loan from Jeevan and opened a factory for making doors and windows using UPVC technology. Where the income started improving, orders for windows and doors also started getting more.

At present she is also providing employment to half a dozen people in her factory. The workers working in the factory are educated, hence it also provides financial help to them. Manju Devi’s younger son also helps her a lot in this business.
