Who will contest elections on how many seats?
After the exit of Left parties in Jharkhand, now JMM, Congress and RJD will contest the assembly elections together in alliance. According to the information, JMM will contest on 44 seats, Congress on 31 seats and RJD on 6 seats.
According to the information, today Thursday at 5 pm, the CEC meeting of Congress will be held at the house of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to decide the candidate for the remaining seat of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. Leaders who are not in Delhi will join this meeting virtually. Congress CEC will also meet tomorrow at 5 pm in which the candidates from Maharashtra will be discussed.
When will the elections be held?
The Election Commission has announced the dates of assembly elections in Jharkhand. Elections will be held in 2 phases for a total of 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand. Voting will be held in the state on November 13 and 20 and the result will be declared on November 23. Voting on Dumka assembly seat will be held in the second phase on 20 November 2024.
