Kolkata: Many important things have come to light in the CBI charge sheet in the murder and rape case of a trainee doctor in RG Kar Medical College. According to the CBI charge sheet, the post-mortem of the victim took place at 6:10 pm, 12 hours after the murder. According to the post-mortem report, the victim died due to strangulation and suffocation.
It has been said in the charge sheet that the victim was forcibly raped. Five injury marks were found on the body of the accused. According to the CCTV footage, the accused entered the seminar hall at 4:03 am on August 9 and came out at 4:32 am. The victim’s blood was found on Roy’s jeans and shoes. Her hair and blue tooth ear piece found at the crime scene synced with her mobile phone. Saliva/semen/short hair/DNA analysis revealed that Sanjay Roy is the accused.

A female trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital was raped and murdered during her night shift. The accused was a volunteer of West Bengal Police, who kept coming and going to the hospital. On the day of the incident, he came to the hospital in an intoxicated state. Earlier he had also gone to the red light area. In the hospital, he committed the crime in the seminar hall and went to the police station and slept. On the basis of CCTV footage, the accused was arrested and he confessed to his crime during interrogation.
