Bijnor. In Bijnor’s Khatriyan area, a young man who had been hiding his identity for the last two months and was living in a rented house with a woman, was caught by the local people. During this time the landlord also created a ruckus. On the information of local people, the police reached the spot and detained the youth and took him to the police station for questioning. The case is of Khatriyan area of Kotwali area of Bijnor city. For the last two months, a Muslim youth was living with a woman by hiding his identity. When the landlord became suspicious, he interrogated the young man strictly. The youth revealed his real identity as Mohammad Shadab, resident of Ismalpurdar. During this time, a crowd of local people gathered and the angry people handed the young man over to the police.
The young man told that about a year ago he had met the widowed woman near Ismalpurdar tehsil. During this time he told the woman his name was Sanjeev Sharma. Both of them started talking on mobile and the love affair started. After this, the woman started living with the young man in Haridwar along with her son, while her daughter lived with her grandmother. Later she also brought her daughter. She started living with the young man on rent at Tarang Pathak’s house in Mohalla Khatriyan.
Landlord Tarang Pathak told that when the young man came to live on rent, he had given an identity card in the name of Sanjeev Sharma, hence there was no suspicion. He used to say Namaskar and Ram-Ram while coming and going, he also kept fast during Navratri and also performed puja in the evening. On Tuesday, the daughter came and told that the young man was fighting with his mother. When he was strictly interrogated, the young man revealed his real identity.
Here, the widow woman also says that the young man had told her his name was Sanjeev Sharma. The woman told that she got married in 2007 and her husband died one and a half years ago. The woman has a 16 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. The victim has filed a complaint against the young man demanding action. Police say that the young man is being interrogated.
