IGI Airport is famous in the country as well as in entire Asia. Considering this, the security here also remains very tight. Along with CISF, local police and customs department teams are deployed for security round the clock. Despite this, such cases often come to light at IGI Airport, due to which the roots of the criminals can be easily understood. Recently, one such shocking incident has come to light at Delhi Airport. Airport police has busted the fake visa racket.
According to the information, the police team has exposed the fake visa racket syndicate. Four members of the alleged racket, including two women, have been arrested. The job of the gang members was to extort money by luring people into their trap. It is alleged that the gang used to first trap people who wanted to go abroad, then used to collect lakhs of rupees by getting them fake visas. One such passenger had reached IGI Airport. When he gave his visa at the immigration counter, the officials present there were stunned. The staff present at the counter informed their superiors, after which a case was registered and they were taken into custody.

fake canadian visa
IGI officials said on Tuesday that four people were arrested from Haryana for making fake Canadian visas. Among the arrested accused are two women and two men. They have been identified as Gaurav, Nitin Sharma, Sarabjit Kaur and Gagandeep Kaur. The officer said that on September 28 last, a passenger named Kuldeep had reached IGI Airport. He had a Canadian visa. The visa was found to be fake during document verification. The fake visa was pasted on Kuldeep’s passport. After this FIR was lodged.
Canada visa for Rs 18 lakh
IGI Airport DCP Usha Ranganani told that Kuldeep met an agent named Sandeep through one of his friends. Sandeep told Kuldeep that he could send him to Canada for Rs 18 lakh. Then the deal was finalized between the two. Sandeep had also promised to arrange a job in Canada. Kuldeep reportedly agreed to his words and even gave Rs 5 lakh as advance. After this Sandeep arranged Canada visa and ticket for Kuldeep. Kuldeep reached IGI Airport to go to Canada where he was caught.
Nexus extended to Haryana
DCP Usha further said that Sandeep was arrested from Kaithal (Haryana). Sandeep told during interrogation that he runs a syndicate along with his associates. After this, a police team was formed to nab them. Based on the information, the police team raided and arrested Gaurav, Nitin, Sarabjit Kaur and Gagandeep Kaur. Sarabjit and Gagandeep used to post advertisements on their social media.
