It starts from Ramghat situated on Saryu river and passes through Baba Raghunathdas’s throne, Sitakund, Agnikund, Vidyakund, Maniparvat, Kuberparvat, Sugrivaparvat, Laxmanghat, Swargadwar and ends back at Ramghat. The fourteenth Kosi Parikrama of Ayodhya area has the supreme importance. According to folklore, the sins of the year are eliminated by circumambulation and bathing on this day and virtues are attained. People travel about 50 kilometers in this parikrama. It takes 12 to 15 hours to complete. It starts from Swargadwar in Ayodhya and passes through Suryakund (first resting place), West Kosaha, Mirzapur, Bikapur villages and then Janora (second resting place), Khojampur, Nirmalikund, Guptarghat, This circumambulation is completed after returning back to heaven. Benefits of Chaurasikosi Parikrama of Ayodhya
This parikrama starts from Makhauda Dham on Chaitra Purnima. This is the biggest circumambulation of Shri Ayodhya of 84 Kos and it is completed in about 22 days. The total length of this parikrama is 200 kilometers, hence due to it being difficult, very few people are able to do it. This is a very ancient parikrama. Mostly only sages and saints are able to do this. In this, worship and Bhandara is done at Sitakund on Janaki Navami.

Pradakshina Krita Yen Jambudvipasya Sa Krita”
