The Cabinet Committee on Defense Affairs has approved a defense deal worth Rs 80 thousand crores. Under this, 31 Predator drones will be purchased from America. Also, 31 MQ9 drones will be for Navy, 8 for Indian Air Force and 8 for Army. The biggest thing about this defense deal is that two nuclear attack submarines will be built in the country. Also, approval has been given to indigenously build 2 nuclear attack submarines for the Indian Navy at a cost of Rs 45,0000 crore.
